The decision has been made to cancel the Blaise Blazer 2021 due to the continued uncertainty under the current climate. We will return on the 6th June 2022


The Blaise Blazer is an annual 4 mile (approx.) race set to the backdrop of the biggest hills and best views to found in the beautiful grounds of Blaise Castle Estate, Bristol. Moving across a range of tarmac, grass and trails, it is usually held on the first Monday in June.


Prizes: Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 1st U23, 1st V35, 1st V45, 1st V55, 1st 65, 1st V70
Only one prize per runner. For example, should a vet athlete(s) come in the top three positions the next vet athlete in that age category will be awarded the respective vet prize.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Team Prize: First 8 club runners to count (4 Male / 4 Female).

Presentation of prizes will be from the club hut shortly after results are collated. Spot prizes are given at the finish line. Free cakes and refreshments are provided for everyone in the club house afterwards. The race is suitable for runners of all abilities, though please note the minimum age is 16.

– Please accept our apologies that the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. Support/guide runners may enter free of charge to assist a runner who has a disability or impairment.
– No pushchairs or dogs are permitted.
– Headphones are not to be worn.
– Parking is available and there are toilets on site. Changing rooms can be found in the club house were bags can be left at the owners’ own risk. We would advise not to leave any valuables.
