The Club offers coaching and training for junior athletes of all abilities, with sessions being adapted to meet individual needs. All coaches are fully qualified and DBS checked and ensure that sessions are safe, challenging yet enjoyable. Westbury Harriers recognises that the ages of 11 to 18 are significant to a young person’s physical and emotional development and coaches will take a holistic approach when working with young people.
Monday night training involves a steady run, exploring the roads and paths of the local area, or training on the field at Coombe Dingle.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays we run structured sessions which include a warm up, technical drills, an interval session of running at varying paces and cool down to end.
We encourage those running with the Club for the first time to come along and try up to three free sessions to find out if Westbury Harriers is right for you. If you enjoy yourself and want to come back, we’ll ask you to become a full member of the club!
If you want to try any of the sessions please contact:
For boys: manager.boys@westburyharriers.co.uk
For girls: manager.girls@westburyharriers.co.uk
We will contact you to arrange a suitable session to join, and explain the structure of the session. Please ensure you are familiar with our code of conduct, complete this form and email it to the coaches beforehand.

All of our junior sessions are led by dedicated volunteers who hold an England Athletics Leading or Coaching qualification. As our club relies on the help of volunteers, we encourage parents and guardians to help support our sessions by volunteering or becoming a run leader.
