Social Events

Westbury Harriers organises a large amount of fun, social opportunities through which you can get to know other members. These include:

Informal social runs: Regular social runs occur on Saturday mornings and Wednesday as well on bank holiday. Please check out our Facebook page and calendar.

Monthly post-run club supper: Everyone is welcome. This is a great way to mingle with members from other groups and catch up with friends. The supper takes place at a local pub, with the exact venue being confirmed nearer to the date. There is a small charge per person.

Our Annual summer garden party: Open to all and in a beautiful venue, the last one held in 2019 was a great success. Fingers crossed for more glorious weather!

Annual Christmas meal: This takes place in Weston-Super-Mare after the December Weston prom 5 mile race.

Fancy dress Santa Run: Open to everyone (18 and over), this run takes place in December and winds through the streets of Bristol, taking in various pubs along the way.

Fish & chip boat trip supper: To be arranged.

Bike rides: These are arranged by individuals.

Members are advised to join our facebook group: ‘Westbury Harriers Members Chat’. Lots of informal social meet ups are arranged here after races and events.
