It is with great sadness that we give you the news that Graham Bazley, a member of Westbury Harriers and previous Chairman of the Town and Country Harriers died on Sunday 19th May at the age of 55.
Graham was well known to many Club members and was a regular Monday night runner for many years. He was a frequent participant on the Saturday morning runs, often finding off the beat trails for all to enjoy. Graham had an ability to make people feel welcome and he was often found chatting to new runners as if they were old friends.
Graham’s sense of adventure led to many running oriented explorations, and he was often found beating the mountains of the Brecons and other similar parts of the U.K. in his spare time. It was from here that Graham became heavily involved with TaCH, whilst continuing to support and encourage Westbury runners and maintaining friendships with so many in our Club.
The Club would wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Graham’s family and friends.
