The National Cross Country Championships took place at a very muddy Parliament Hill, London. The course may have had some grass at the start of the day, but it quickly turned into a mud field making it extremely tough for all the runners.
Well done to all the athletes who took part, it doesn’t matter where you finished, you took part and ran alongside some of the best athletes in the country; you did us proud. And got covered in mud, a lot of mud!
Thank you to all the team managers, coaches, parents, drivers and supporters who ensured that it was a day that will be remembered. Without all this support, we would not get any athletes to the start line.
