British Masters Athletics. Masters athletics is for runners over 35 years of age. This last year Westbury Harriers men and women masters (also known as veterans) have had success in local, county, regional, national and international races. The highlight has been the international success of Nigel, Anthony, Vicky and Katie.
Athletes are encouraged to join area associations and there are individual and team competitions.
Team Events: Clubs can enter three person teams (of either gender) in age bands 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74 and 75+ in a number of races each year.
Winning team members each receive BMAF national championship medals. The club supports athletes in these events so please let Mike (Men) or Eithne (Ladies) know if you want to race.
