Photos from Westbury Harriers Club Awards Night

Here are some photos from Westbury Harriers Awards’ Night, held at Westbury on Trym Village Hall on Saturday (6/4/18). Ladies President Pat Gallagher presented the awards, and the event was inimitably compered by Geraint Torrington. As a ‘warm-up’, we presented the many medals won by club members in the Gwent Cross-Country League:

Our U11 girls team also won the Gloucestershire League

Our U11 girls team champions, including individual champion Estelle Lowe

Our U13 girls were second team

Our U15 girls team were also second team, with Dalis Jones and Kate Howard first and second individuals

Our U15 boys won the league, and Seamus Robinson was first individual

Our U17 women were league champions, and Rodie Hamilton James the individual champion

Our U17 men’s team finished second in the league, with Abdi Hasan individual champion

Our U20 team won the league, but only Jack could make it to the awards night

Our Senior Women’s team finished second in the league

Our Womens M35 team were league champions, with Katie Hughes 2nd Individual

Our Women’s M45 team was second in the league

Marilyn Palmer was second Women M65

Pat Gallagher herself was Womens M70 champion
