Sustainable Westbury-on-Trym (Sus WoT). This week, on the Monday and Thursday just before training we have Sys WoT providing a short talk. Sustainable Westbury-on-Trym is a local organisation trying to improve the environment in Westbury-on-Trym, their strapline is ‘doing more using less’.   SusWoT work to reduce litter in Westbury and have started working with Friends of Blaise and the Friends of Badock’s Wood to improve the ecology of the whole Trym river system including Hazel Brook, the river that runs through Blaise. SusWoT organises monthly litter collecting and has also been removing rubbish from the Trym and its surroundings.  It may be that Westbury Harriers could help with this.

Alex Dunn, Chair of SusWoT is intending to do a couple of very short presentations to us at 7pm on Monday 21st and Thursday 24th about how we can help keep the areas where we run cleaner and tidier.
