  • Green Man Training Run on Saturday 1 September

Sarah Andrews, Stef Louvain Pasco and Mark Andrews are running the Green Man Ultra at the end of September and are planning a training run on 1 September where anyone who wanted to join us would be very welcome.

We plan to run the first section of the course from Ashton Court to Keynsham as none of us have done that part before. We will start at Sea Mills close to the station, run the Last few miles of the course over the downs to Ashton Court, then on to Keynsham, total distance of about 20 miles. We can then catch the train back to Sea Mills.

If anyone else is running the Green Man and wants to run the route, wanted to fit this in as part of marathon training, or just fancies a different Saturday long run then let us know, it would be great if others want to join us! Anyone who has run the route before and actually knows the way would be especially welcome!

For anyone who doesn’t know us well we are Group three runners but plan a really easy pace.

    5k Fun Run

The Downs
Saturday 8th September
£5 per runner

Badminton School, in association with Westbury Harriers, will be holding their annual charity fun run, on the Downs.

There are a number of races taking place for pupils of Badminton from 10am, with the 5k fun run at 10.45am (registration 9.45am)

The fun run is open to everyone, from WH kids, parents, to WH regular runners, joining in the run will be teachers and parents.

It would be great if we can get some of you out to this event in club colours, to help promote the club to the local community and to the parents of Badminton School, as well as supporting a local Charity.

We have had links with Badminton for a year now, and provide coaching for them, which has gone very well, with some of their pupils now racing for us.

There is also a BBQ after the event.

If you want to run then please email schooloffice@badmintonschool.co.uk
