In a fantastic first for Westbury Harriers, three club members – Ellie Wallace, Hannah Hobbs and Ellie Leather – qualified for the U17s 1500m final in the England Schools Athletics Association National Championships in Gateshead yesterday. All three girls went on to finish in the top seven – an absolutely brilliant result, and much-deserved after all their hard work and preparation.

7th Ellie Leather 4:39.41
Ellie Leather had a particularly successful weekend, running not one but two PBs in 24 hours (the first in her qualifying heat on Friday), knocking six seconds off her previous best of 4:45.
