Success at Windsor – Hobbs qualifies for Europeans

A trio of young westbury harriers notched up excellent results at the recent British Duathlon Championship at Windsor. Hannah Hobbs was 2nd in the junior race (5km run, 20km bike, 2.5km run), with Ellie Hobbs and Rosie Allen at 5th and 6th in the youth race (2.5k run, 10k bike, 1.25k run).

As a result of coming in the top two, Hannah Hobbs has qualified to represent Great Britain at the European Duathlon Championships in Kalkan, Germany on Saturday 16th April 2016. Hobbs’ success comes soon-after an impressive cross-country running season where she won the Avon Schools’ title, came runner-up in the South West Championships, took silver at the Midland Championships and won three Gwent League races.

Congratulations to all three – and good luck to Hannah at the European Championships!
