It’s the Mob Match 10K this Friday, July 18th and we need as many of you to turn up as possible.
The Mob Match 10K is run along the GWR Towpath 10K route and is an event where clubs in the Avon area race against each other. The team with the lowest number of points (based on finishing positions) will win.
It’s easy to enter too – just turn up at the start line with your Westbury vest on, run as fast as you can for 10K making huge efforts to pass any non-Westbury vests, get a token at the end and hand it in to the Westbury team captain who is Robin Phillips. There are no numbers to pin on at the start of the race.
It’s a great social event and will also be the final race in this year’s club championship.
The results and presentation take place at Bar BS3.
How much does it cost to enter? Nothing – it’s FREE! The organisers would like each club to supply a marshal or two, so if you’re not running but going along to watch, please consider volunteering.
Further information about location etc., can be found on the GWR website – http://www.greatwesternrunners.org.uk/docs/towpath2014/Race%20Information%20sheet%202014%20v1.pdf – just ignore the race number information.
