Booking is now open for all members for the Westbury Harriers’ Centenary Dinner. Booking details are below, and you can download pdf details here (to pass on to those without Internet access).

Doors will open at 7pm, and after a formal welcome, the dinner will start around 8pm (menu below). After some short speeches at the end of the dinner, there will be plenty of time to move around and meet friends old and new. There will be live background music, but nothing too intrusive, and we’re not planning for dancing at the end.

Rooms in the hotel will be available to book at a preferential rate, but please note that the Bristol Half Marathon takes place the following morning, and there will be many road closures including outside The Bristol Hotel. But why not stay, soak up the atmosphere and cheer for the Westbury runners in the race?

The cost is £53, which includes welcome drinks and meal (but not any drinks with the meal). There is no set dress code, smart casual is fine, while many will be in black tie.

All bookings need to be made by the end of April, so that we can give numbers to the hotel.  You can book either:

  • or by post to Neil Miller, 12 Chardstock Avenue, Coombe Dingle, Bristol BS9 2RY (cheques payable to Westbury Harriers).

Please let us know:

    • Your (the person booking) name, postal address, email address and phone number;
    • For each member of your party:
      • Their full name including any titles;
      • Their choice of starter, main course and desert;
      • Any mobility needs or allergies that we should know about.
    • For seating plans:
      • Is there anyone your group would like to be seated near (if attending);
      • Past members years of involvement with the club and age groups at the time;
      • Current members particular friends or training group number.
